I did not forget what LTS means.

by on Aug.27, 2014, under How to, Linux, Programming, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

LTS (Long Term Supported), does not mean those that are running Ultimate Edition 3.4.X have to suffer as Ultimate Edition 4.2.1 for example advances. I have now incorporated code into TheeMahn O/S Builder (tmosb) 1.8.9 to upgrade existing Operating Systems. The screenie below is very large due to dual monitors higher then HD, thank you multi-monitor application for setting it up for me.
LTS

In case you can not figure what is going on or cant see the large photo, I am upgrading Ultimate Edition 3.4.1 to what will be Ultimate Edition 3.4.3 using:
tmosb --upgrade ultimate-edition-3.4.1-lite-x64.iso
uecorebuilder 3.4.3 lite

I will eventually push into one command:
tmosb --upgrade ultimate-edition-3.4.1-lite-x64.iso 3.4.3
Did you know it took me over an hour to install Ultimate Edition 3.4.1 because of mediabuntu repos being non-existant? KeySnatcher has automatically rectified that situation as it is upgrading the distro.

When all the tools I have written (pages still to write in previous link) come together, they will sing in harmony of a perfect Operating System as well as Operating System constructor. I am currently sorry tmosb 1.8.9 is not available to the public until I see solid release, after solid release; built with the tool.

On a lighter note, I have seen people building Operating Systems using the same tool, however using as the base for example running Ultimate Edition 4.2, building Ultimate Edition 4.3. I will formulate the tool to not care what Operating System you are running and just provide exactly what you want. I built Ultimate Edition 4.4 (Ubuntu Utopic Unicorn 14.10 based) with 5 additional DE (desktop environments) 2 or 3 days ago and very sucessfully I may add; it is just a matter of time.

Any Gamers in the house?

by on Aug.24, 2014, under Gamers, Linux, Programming, Ultimate Edition

Ultimate Edition 4.2 Gamers 32 bit 100% exists today due to TheeMahn O/S Builder (tmosb) 1.8.8, 08/22/2014. Documentation is in the works.

All 100% built automously with TheeMahn O/S Builder (tmosb) 1.8.8, 08/22/2014, I am now going to provide the same application worldwide. The application will not only build Ultimate Edition 4.2 Gamers a Long Term Supported (LTS) release, but will build 83 other Operating Systems (many currently non-existant) with the simplicity of a single command dropped in the terminal in this case:

tmosb --build ultimate-edition-4.2-x86-gamers.iso

It does not stop there, let’s say you also like / want XFCE environment:
tmosb --build ultimate-edition-4.4-x86-lite.iso XFCE

You no longer have to wait on me to build your Operating System for you. Due to the advanced caching system, I can build a new Operating System every 17 minutes:

tmosb –build will list the availible O/S’s it will construct for you, please copy and paste. Please by the same token take note, the cache will accelerate each subsequent build, so do not be mad when your first build takes you an hour or better ;) I wrote the tool to remove one of my many jobs, the information thus provided there is much less then the current pdf provides.

My Ultimate Goal is for this tool to 100% replace me as an Operating System Architect. Relinquish my time for support on the forums, Webmaster of 11 websites and return to software development. Damn, no wonder I can’t read my email of 100,000 unread lol.

Donors…

by on Jul.04, 2014, under Linux, Programming, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

I have a ton of people climbing on my back to get their phalanges on Ultimate Edition 4.2 the final release that is. They won’t let me finish it without inturption. I grant you beta testers and donors should have it now. Speaking of donors one of the issues I seen was ubiquity splash claimed you would be running firefox 26, far from the truth & did not inject your names into the O/S. None the less a need for a re-build, my donors list was 3 or 4 months behind, I have rectified that as well. I am unsure if you know this, but soon will. I wrote an application a sub-program of tmosb (included in Ultimate Edition 4.2 as well) that scans the donors file, injects and builds a deb specifically for what we will soon be able to build together, does not have to be Ultimate Edition either:

Is the above information correct (Y/N)?

Took me a few hours to update the donors page as I was going along. Let me point out a few thing as it stands, tmosb is integraded in the Operating System, please do not feel it is even close to what I am projecting it will be. When Repostorm enters the picture uncountless error free Operating Systems will walk the planet like the Jolly Green Giant. We will talk more about that later.

Happy 4th of July,

The storm is over…

by on Jul.01, 2014, under Linux, Programming, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

My employer has given me off until July 7th, expect some large changes coming soon to a server near you. The past week or so I have been doing some heavy coding in Repostorm. I’m done programming for sometime to come. Repostorm has managed to squash a ton of errors and warnings in the Mate Desktop Environment(DE). I will now begin construction of the final release of Ultimate Edition 4.2 Lite based on the Repostormed debs. Just to give you some perspective on what difference this will make in final production. In any Operating System that uses Mate 1.8 the following is the session result of running repostorm –analyze on a virgin Mate 1.8 DE entire Repository:

Repostorm 1.8.4 is generating a full report.
SESSION RESULTS
Error(s): 248 | Warning(s): 4546 | Info: 0
Writing permanent logs.
Execution Time: 11m43s

After Repostorm has repaired issues in Mate DE:

Repostorm 1.8.4 is generating a full report.
SESSION RESULTS
Error(s): 4 | Warning(s): 31 | Info: 0
Writing permanent logs.
Execution Time: 27s

I’m providing the log files for your viewing pleasure:
Before and After the storm has settled.

I have had tons of requests to do the same to XFCE, Cinnamon, etc. Let’s face it time is never on my side, best I can say is we will see.

A New Copy Application

by on Jun.16, 2014, under Cloud Storage, Hosting, Linux, Programming, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

I have released Baracuda Networks Copy application in the past, however I thought I would drop on here and release a new Debianized version to the public Version 1.44.0357. This will be my last post on Baracuda Networks Copy application. I am going to provide a link on the sidebar of this website so you can always access the latest version I have Debianized on the Ultimate Edition Copy Account. There is over 300 Gigabytes worth of information you can download from there. Operating Systems, applications, themes, eyecandy, the list goes on.

Here it comes…

by on May.26, 2014, under Linux, Programming, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

When I release a final 4.2, I want you to entirely rethink the entire situation. Furthermore I want you to think about all the issues and problems that just do not exist and who is responsible for the gratification you receive..
Chat Conversation End

Many of you do not use Ultimate Edition Linux, the #4 used O/S on the planet at one time. I want to share some tidbits of information with you. Canonical, better known as Ubuntu has probably 1000 people that work for them, many are programmers. I am one Mahn. I have not implemented software I have been writing for greater then 3 years that will replace 1000 programmers jobs. It does not matter Debian, Mint etc. A smashing is coming, more correctly written a perfect O/S is coming.

I grant you a bold statement, when you remove the element of human error what remains is perfect code. I have spent my days fixing software autonomously, write a new function to fix this broad-based error. Watch 1000′s of errors crumble in one function it gives me reason to advance the software, will I ever make it to 0 errors? Never do I want to hear the term Terminator. I took a day off programming, understand it is coming.

Copied and pasted from facebook ;) I no longer possess the time. Understand I have like 10 days coming off for July 4th mass changes are coming.

Ultimate Edition 4.0

by on Apr.20, 2014, under Linux, Programming, Themes, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

Once again I am not going to make a big deal out of this release. It is very nice and works very well; however it is based on the Ubuntu 13.10 “Saucy Salamander” branch and has very limited support time left. Our efforts once Ultimate Edition 4.1 is released is undivided concentration on Ultimate Edition 4.2 and Ultimate Edition 4.3 a Long Term Supported (LTS) release. Previously released as a Beta. Repostorm is honing Mate 1.8 to perfection with each line of code I write. The base of what will be in Ultimate Edition 4.2 Lite. Alot of catchup is going on in the persuit to perfection as I am hoping to present you in the release of Ultimate Edition 4.2, please stay tuned.

Ultimate Edition 3.9

by on Apr.08, 2014, under Linux, Ubuntu, Ultimate Edition

Time is has never been on my side, this is no exception. I am dumping Ultimate Edition 3.9 to the public. I am not going to make a big deal about it. I have had nothing, but pretty much good feedback on it. I am not even going to spend the time updating / upgrading it. I will be doing some catch up over the next few weeks when time is availible. Let’s get UE 3.9 behind us, so I can focus on the future.
